About the Artist
Jennifer J. L. Jones, born in 1971 in Alexandria, Virginia, is a distinguished American contemporary painter whose work captivates audiences with its exploration of beauty and energy. Raised in the picturesque landscapes of rural Virginia and the east coast of Florida, Jones draws profound inspiration from nature, which is evident in her mixed media paintings. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, where she honed her unique artistic style.
Jones’ paintings are meditations on the duality of nature, blending its physical reality with intangible spirituality. Her work features multiple layers of abstraction and a refined glazing technique, resulting in rich, organic patinas that resonate with universal emotional and physical connections. Her layered approach creates elegant, ever-shifting compositions that combine poetic, sensual grace with bold execution.
Throughout her illustrious career, Jones has exhibited her work in prestigious galleries across the United States and internationally, including locations in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Atlanta, Chicago, Martha’s Vineyard, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, Ponte Vedra Beach, Paris, Barbizon, London, and more. Her art has been showcased in renowned fine art fairs such as the Affordable Art Fair in London, Art Wynwood in Miami, the Concept Art Fair in Miami, Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary, The Hamptons, NY, and the Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week, AZ. The Jacksonville International Airport has also featured her work in its cultural gallery, and she was honored to participate in the Women in Art Fair at Mall Galleries, London, England.

Lauderdale, FL. Over the past three years, her paintings have been exhibited at several London Art Fairs, HWG Fall Shows, and highlighted at the Art is Gold invitational benefit at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, GA, and the Cultural Arts Center in Jacksonville, FL.
